You stand before the duel academy building, things in hand. You were nervous. Would you survive this place? Or would you end up going home before the week was over? The timid side of you shook with fear of the worst that could happen while your other side wanted to take those first steps into the building.

"I... guess I can't stand here forever.." you mumble.

You take a deep breath and walk into the building. The halls filled with students. Many wearing red uniforms, yellow and blue. Being new, you didn't know where you were going.. so you walk up to a student in blue and ask him where the chancellor's office was.

"Get away from me noobie trash!" he grunts and shoves you to the floor violently.

As you land with a plop, the boy leaves in another direction.

"Oh man! Are you ok?" a voice rings in. "Obelisks can be such jerks!"

You turn around to see a boy in a red uniform, brown hair and soft brown eyes running toward you.

"Really, then i guess I should avoid them?" you mumble.

"Well, not all of them are that way. there is this really neat girl Alexis. She's pretty nice! Annndd this guy Chazz used to be obelisk but left and back back as slifer. He used to be a jerk who looked down on everyone. Now he just looks down on some people!"

You get a sweat drop and take the boy's hand as he extends it. Pulling you to your feet, he introduces himself.

"By the way.. i'm Jaden Yuki, Slifer red slacker!!"

He gives you a big grin.

"Thanks for your help and.... My name is ______!"

Jaden places an arm around you and says

"Well, it's nice to meetcha _____! Need help with anything?"

"Actually!! I need to find the chancellor's office! If it's not too much trouble.." you say.

"Ahh not at all! I'll take you there myself!"

He leads you to the entrance and knocks on the door.

"come in!" a strong voice calls.

Jaden looks at you and says "Let's go!"

You nod and follow him in. In a large desk near the windows in the room say a man in a darker shade of red. A maroon color perhaps. Beard and mustache combo. A little on the porky side, but that didn't really matter. He motions you and Jaden over to him and asks

"Hello Jaden. who have we here?"

"Hey, this is _____. She's new here and asked to see you! It's ok, right?"

"Oh! Of course! you must be the new student I've heard of! Welcome to Duel Academy, _____!"

The chancellor gets out of his seat and walks around the desk to shake your hand.

"I am chancellor shepard! You must be here about your uniform, yes?"

You nod and he walks off. You wonder what you'll ed up being. As he comes back, you see a yellow outfit in his arms.

"If i'm not mistaken you took the entry exam at the required building less than a week ago... congratulations on making it to the Ra Yellow Dorm!"

"Sweet! Now bastion has a friend to talk to!"

"Bastion?" you ask.

Suddenly there is a voice from out of the office. "Excuse me jaden, but I do have friends. Don't you and the others count?"

"Oh well, yeah! I didn't mean it that way, sorry bro!"

"Quite alright... Now who is this?"

Bastion turns to you as he walks toward you smiling kindly.

"I-I'm uh.. _____! Nice to meet you" You smile as you extend your hand for a handshake.

Bastion smiles politely and takes your hand, gently shaking it.

"I am Bastion Misawa, pleasure to make your acquaintance!"

You notice he was wearing a yellow blaizer and gasp.

"You're a Ra! Me too! Maybe, if it's not too much trouble for you... you can show me around our campus?"

"Alright, I'd be glad to! Right now though, we'll show you to class. It's about time."

Bastion and Jaden lead you to the classroom. There were students already in their seats chattering, waiting for the teacher to come in. where would you sit? There were quite a few good spots. Jaden sits at his seat with a boy with blue-green hair. Jaden was so nice to you, you decide to sit behind him!

"I'll see you after class, alright ____?" bastion asks.

"Yeah" you reply. "What's next anyway?"

"Well, art, naturally we have not only dueling classes but other subjects as well."

You sigh heavily at the thought of having to have a math class here too. Oh well, maybe you can weasel your way out of failing like you've done at your old school! You grin to yourself and nod to bastion.

"right, see you after class!"

With that he walks to his seat. A few seconds later, a tall, blonde ugly man walks into the room. Your eyes widen. you recognized him from a while back!

~Flashback~
You are on your cellphone talking to your mother.

"Moooooom... I know, I know.. I'll be back before then." you sigh.

As you were walking up the street you bump into a stranger passing by.

"Excuse me, Young lady! Watch where you're going, please! Such rudeness" the man complains.

You take the phone from your ear and turn to the man and gag.

"Oh god.... Uh... You should watch where you're going... my arm might fall off now that you touched me...." you start. "I didn't know anyone could be so..... ugly.."

"W-What.. did... you...say!?"

You could practically see the steam coming out of his ears. His face burning red with anger. An officer just happened to pass by and was dragged over, complaining about you.

"She had the nerve to just ram into me and then insult me!! Take her to jail at once!" the man screamed.

The officer tried not to look at the man directly. You know why, hehe. He looks to you and asks "is this true, miss...?"

You smirk to yourself mentally and conjure up some tears. throwing yourself at the officer you hug him and pretend to sob.

"It was horrible... Thank god you're here.....!!! You have to save me from this stalker. He found out I knew he was stalking me and hen tried to frame me and make me look like the bad person... Please, you gotta help me.. He's a pedofile, I've seen him do this before!!!"

The officer glares a the blonde man and comforts you, telling you it would be ok. Then taking out his handcuffs, he places them on the guy and tells him he was taking him to jail. You loved the look on his face as he drove away in the police car. Priceless.
~End of Flashback~

You knew he would remember that day if he saw you, so you sink down in your seat and cover your face with your uniform.

"Hey... ____? What's the matter? I know crowler is a little tough on the eyes, but he's not... that bad." Jaden chuckles sheepishly.

You avoid eye contact with 'Crowler' as he passed you by, thought you could feel that he lookd down at you at some point. Now what are you going to do?

"now class... it seems we have a new student" he says immediately. He did see you. You sink down in your seat even more as he turns facing everyone.

"Miss, stand up and introduce yourself. Don't be rude" You hesitantly stand up and look to the class, who in turn glanced back at you.

"Heyy..." you start. "I'm.. uh.. _________.. new here and.. that's pretty much it."

Crowler narrows his eyes as he watches you sit down.

'something about that girl seems veiguely familiar...'

'I wonder if that look he's giving me means he remembers me.....' you think 'I wish he'd stop looking over here.. god..'

Crowler makes his way across the class and strolls up the isle you were in once more. He was giving his lesons on trap cards and special effect monsters at that moment. You glance up at him for a few seconds and meet his eyes in a gaze. Mistake. Crowler gasps and jumps back a few feet pointing at you.

"YOU!!!! YOU'RE THAT... THAT GIRL!!!!!! WHAT IN DEVIL'S NAME ARE YOU DOING HERE?!!?" he exclaims. All eyes were on you. Jaden raised an eyebrow and bastion did the same. Looks like this year was about to become very difficult

Crowler grits his teeth. "I-Is there a problem..? Is there a proble-- YOU'RE my problem!!!! You got me arrested!!!! ARRESTED!!!!"

You cackled mentally but kept a straight face as you shifted your eyes toward him.

"Heyy, give it a rest crowler... If she got you arrested it was probably for a good reason!" Jaden grins from across the room, scratching the back of his head.

"You keep out of this slacker!"
